John has spent his entire tenure with the firm fighting for working men and women, and their labor organizations. John gets satisfaction and fulfillment from expressing his solidarity with our unions. He has played a central role in key local issues, such as the recent lock out of workers at The Toledo Blade, but has also been actively involved in more national issues on behalf of the Farm Laborers’ union, the Teamsters, and the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee. John has built a large labor practice by being smart, hard working, and willing to get involved with workers in the trenches. His labor practice is the back bone of what the law firm does, and what we all believe in.
