Vern has spent many years building the firm’s Social Security Section into the very busy and very successful practice that it is today.  Professionally Vern maintains memberships with the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers.  He has spoken to various groups about disability law on both the national and local levels.  His driving principle has been to ensure that injured and disabled individuals receive effective, efficient, quality representation in their quest to receive the benefits to which they are entitled.  Vern’s community involvement includes previous service on the Arthritis Foundation board, and recent service on the Victory Center board, a non-profit organization that provides non-medical support services to cancer patients and their families.  He currently serves as the firm’s Community Services Coordinator.
